Second Grade finished up our "How We Express Ourselves" Unit with a Showcase that highlighted student's cultural foods and traditions. Students and families gathered to share a meal and teach each other about important celebrations in their culture.

Students have also began the "Where We Are in Place and Time" unit by reflecting on the incredibly contributions of past figures in the Civil Rights Movement for Black History Month. Classes visited the library and after a read aloud with Ms. J, got to explore a wide selection of books about important Black change makers.
