The Open World Learning Community PTO is a volunteer-run nonprofit that exists to support and enhance the school. All current parents and guardians, students and staff at OWL are welcome and encouraged to participate in the PTO. Anyone who attends a PTO meeting can vote at that meeting. OUR MISSION
The Open World Learning Community (OWL) Parent Teacher Organization is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance and support the educational experience for all students, families and staff at Open World Learning Community by:
Building and sustaining a strong school community by encouraging and facilitating parent/guardian, student and staff involvement in OWL activities.
To enhance the learning environment of OWL through volunteer and financial support of educational special programs, services and facilities NOT covered by the school budget
To raise funds and promote participation in school activities that benefit OWL students
