Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

Hello!!  I am Stacey Perkins and this is my 8th year as the Gifted and Talented Coordinator/Teacher for Owen County Schools.  Before I was the GATE teacher, I taught 4th grade for 16 years and then 3rd grade for 1 and 1/2 years before becoming the GATE teacher/coordinator.  I absolutely love my job!

My husband and I have 3 children.  Briana is an EKU graduate, Austin completed lineman school this summer, and Adyson is an 8th grader at the middle school. 

We love going to Disney!!
