So, to tell you a little about me... I am starting my ninth year of teaching in Owasso after moving here in 2015.  All of those years have been here at the 8th Grade Center.  Before moving to Owasso, I was a 6th 7th and 8th grade teacher in Mustang Oklahoma.  I am a little different than most teachers, I decided to become a teacher after working for 15 years in the medical field.  I had always felt like something was missing, and it turned out, teaching was it!

I am married and have three kids, but they are all grown up.  Sarah is my oldest and she has graduated from college and is working and living in the hot Phoenix sun.  She is far away, but technology is great!  My son Josh, is finishing his last year of college at the University of Missouri and will graduate with a Film Studies degree.  He wants to be the next great horror film director!  Carlee is my youngest and she is a sophomore at Oklahoma State University and a member of the color guard.  Carlee is a Graphic Design major.  This is the perfect excuse for us to buy season tickets!  So, that leaves my husband, Don, and I at home this year with a cat and a dog!

I have a B.A. from Oklahoma State University and a Master's Degree from the University of Oklahoma, which works on bedlam days!  I love talking about history and I love working with 8th graders.  I can't wait to get this year started!
