Mrs. Hamilton 6th Grade Science
Class overview
In 6th grade, we learn lab safety and equipment. We work on reading skills with scientific prefixes and suffixes and reading scientific content. We learn how to support a claim with evidence. Our content takes an integrated approach, which includes physical science, earth science, and life science. We learn scientific processes and thinking. We learn life skills, such as collaboration within groups, communication, and organization. You won't see a ton of homework, but we are learning through "doing science". It is sooo amazing what they learn this year!

About me
My name is Kristen Hamilton. I teach 6th grade science at the Owasso 6th grade center. I have taught at Owasso for eight years. I enjoy spending outdoor time with my family and watching my son play football and basketball. I have three kids. Zayden 7th grade, Liberty 3rd grade, and Ava one year old.
