Grading
Teachers do not give grades: Students earn them!
Grades will be weighted to reflect an accurate depiction of student progress and will be based on the following:
Daily Homework 30%- On-time and completed assignments:
A score 75% or higher will receive 10 points
A score between 50% to 74% will receive 8 points
A score below 50% will need to be resubmitted to receive 8 points
Late assignments will receive half credit.
Past assignments should always be kept as proof of completed work and the grade received.
Quizzes - 30%- Quizzes will be taken during our live in-class Zoom meets. Students will be allotted one full class period to complete the quiz.
Chapter Tests/Cumulative Exams- 40%- Assessments will be taken during our live in-class Zoom meets. Students will be allotted one full class period to complete the test.
