This page explains how to delete your World of Lifting account (formerly PR.O) and the data linked to it. World of Lifting is made by Overload Apps LLC.
Deleting your account is permanent. Once it's done, we can't get your account or your data back.
On the Home screen, tap the ☰ menu at the top left.
Tap Settings.
Tap the red button next to Delete my account.
Tap Confirm.
If it's been a while since you last signed in, sign out and sign back in first. The app needs a recent sign-in before it can delete an account.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an older PR.O subscription. If you still have one, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
If you no longer have the app, or can't sign in, email us at support@overloadapps.com:
send it from the email address on your account (if you signed in with Apple and hid your email, tell us which sign-in you used);
use the subject "Delete my account";
include your World of Lifting display name.
We may ask you to confirm the request before we act. We delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove some data:
Posts and comments: delete them from the post or comment.
Workouts: delete a workout from your history.
Habit entries: clear or change them on the Habits page.
Apple Health or Health Connect: disconnect World of Lifting in the Health app or in Health Connect. This stops new data from being read or written. Entries that were already imported stay until you clear them or delete your account.
Anything else: email us and tell us what you'd like removed.
When your account is deleted, we delete:
your sign-in account and your profile (display name, photo, body type, preferences);
your username;
your workouts, programs, program templates, finished workouts, exercise history, exercises you created and progression schemes;
your body data (weight, height, birthdate) and your habits, habit entries, targets and phase settings, including data imported from Apple Health or Health Connect;
your posts and everything in them (text, photos, workouts, PRs and habit trends), with the likes, comments and poll votes on them; your best-lift posts, athlete profile and leaderboard entry;
your comments on other members' posts, your likes and reactions on posts and comments, and your poll votes (poll results are updated);
who you follow, and your place in other members' follower lists;
tags of you in other members' posts (their post stays, the tag is removed);
your notifications, notification settings and your devices' notification tokens, so your phone stops getting our notifications, and the notifications other members got about your activity;
photos and videos you uploaded, such as your profile photo, post images, pose photo and clan picture;
record announcements about you;
your clan membership (a clan you created is closed);
your blog posts, comments and likes on worldoflifting.com;
library PDFs you uploaded that no other member has bought or opened, with their cover images;
your collections, folders, bookmarks, exercise trackers and other app records and settings.
This usually happens within a few minutes.
All-time records and past leaderboards: if you hold an all-time record, or appear in a past season's leaderboard, the record and the ranking stay, but show "Deleted user" instead of your name and photo.
Library PDFs other members bought or opened stay available to those members, so they keep what they have. They're taken out of the library, so nobody new can get them, and their details no longer show your name or link to your account.
Push messages: stored push messages are deleted automatically after 30 days.
What other members wrote, such as their own post text or replies to your comments, stays theirs.
Content other members already copied or shared, such as a screenshot, isn't something we can remove from their devices.
Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. It's linked to a random account ID, not your name or email.
Attribution data is kept by AppsFlyer under its own retention policy. Email us if you'd like us to ask AppsFlyer to delete it.
Older purchase records are kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as their own policies and the law require.
Backups: we don't keep database backups. Google, which hosts our data, may keep deleted data for up to 7 days for disaster recovery, then it's permanently gone.
Information we must keep by law, or to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our terms, is kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
