How long is the course?

This is a 16-hour, 1-semester course
(16 sessions - 1 hour a week)

1 weekly online session of 60 minutes – via Google Meet

This course is for you if…

… your level of English is at least CEFR B2/C1;
… you would like to discuss everyday matters at an advanced level, boost your Speaking Skills by learning and using new lexis, revisiting advanced grammatical structures and receiving feedback;
… you would like to learn how to expose students (and be exposed) to authentic material and extract its full potential.

Course Materials

All the slides and worksheets used during the course will be provided by Out of the Box for the course participants free of charge.

Course Tutor

Rodrigo Sigoli has been in English Language Teaching since 2006, as an English Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Conference Speaker, Director of Studies and CELT-P/S Tutor.

Having worked for well-renowned schools in the São Paulo state, both as an English Teacher and Academic Coordinator, he has also been a Cambridge Assessment English Speaking Examiner since 2012 for Main Suite and YLE (CEFR levels Pre-A1 to C2).

Besides his degree in Languages, he has been awarded multiple certifications by Cambridge Assessment English: the C2 Proficiency, the BULATS, the CELTA, as well as the Train the Trainer.

Technical Requirements

Every course participant must have:

A desktop or laptop computer connected to a high-speed internet connection, equipped with a camera and microphone;
A Gmail account is required to have access to Google Classroom;
3G and 4G connections, as well as the use of phones and tablets are not recommended.

Additional Information

Groups will be formed by a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 10;
Sessions will be recorded and made available to participants for up to a week via Google Classroom;
