The International Freesports Film Festival, also known as IF3, is the longest-running film festivals dedicated to winter sports, having started in Montreal in 2007 and since being hosted in 14 countries on 4 continents. The purpose of the festival is to showcase and award the best in winter sports filmmaking along with providing opportunities for local filmmakers and winter athletes to share their film projects with an audience of their peers.
