Classes and students from local school districts are invited to create artwork for Sima Festival! Make an art piece inspired by Sima’s theme or directly inspired from an art piece from the Sima art exhibition at the Terrace Art Gallery.

Selected works will be exhibited at the Terrace Art Gallery during the month of January 2023.

the Terrace Art Gallery from January 8th to 29th, 2023

A celebration of the exhibition will be held on 

January 18th, 2022 for the official opening of Sima Festival!

Classes and students are invited to participate in a colouring contest for Sima Festival : Wintering Together. Teachers can print one or both designs created by Gitxsan artist Jessica McCallum-Miller (Hlox Majagalee).

All types of colouring are encouraged! You can use crayons, pastels, watercolour, paint… anything you’d like!

All drawings will be exhibited at Shames Mountain, and other locations in and around Terrace from January 11th 2023 until the end of the ski season in April!
