Gemini in Workspace (Edu Plus benefit available to 18+ users) - Gemini side panel is available in Gmail, Drive Editors (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Vids). In Spring 2026 this feature set will be shifted from Google AI Pro to being included in Workspace Education Plus

If device cannot be repaired, student can receive a district-loaned Chromebook as a replacement for grades 6-12

The Laptops are provided to teachers by the district. To receive a laptop:
Have an @ousd email?
Submit a quick ticket: go.ousd.org/helpdesk
Choose “submit a ticket”
Choose “Tech Services: Computer Support”
Click “I am requesting a new device” box
Please check the box if you are a first year teacher
A Tech Services team member will reach out to you for further information and will schedule an appointment for you to pick up your laptop. You must have an OUSD email address.
