We recognize that Social-Emotional Learning skills are an essential foundation for learning and school culture and should be taught with the same intention as an academic subject. For this reason, we use Caring School Community (CSC), a nationally-recognized, evidence-based program for grades K–6 that builds classroom and schoolwide community while developing students' social and emotional (SEL) skills and competencies.
