You have borrowed a book at Roosevelt's library with Ms. Denise what's next?

• you can enjoy reading the book for 2 weeks! Ms. Denise usually provides a bookmark with the due date on it (ask Ms. Denise for a replacement if needed)

• you are allowed to renew your book once! that means if you want to extend borrowing your book, you can borrow it for up to ONE MONTH. 

• you can place up to 2 books on hold at a time, holds are when you are next in line to check out a book once it is returned back to the library! 

• take care of the books! please try to not get them damaged, it takes a lot of time and care to get books ready and we are not able to replace books as quickly. 

• There are NO LATE FEES, but if a book is LOST (cannot be found anywhere) there is a $10 charge for Ms. Denise to be able to purchase a book replacement.  8th graders if you have an overdue or lost book on your record before graduation you cannot walk the stage at promotion. If anyone is unable to make this $10 charge for any reason, please reach out to Ms.Denise and we can find a solution

Anyone is able to check out a library book! this includes students, staff, community partners anyone who is apart of the Roosevelt community is able to enjoy Roosevelt's library!     💗
