ParentSquare was rolled out in Spring 2021 as part of OUSD COVID-19 safety response, allowing staff and families to complete the daily health screener and for the district to streamline communication. Since then it has become our unified communication platform connecting our families with our schools and the district. It provides tools for school to home engagement and has translation functions built-in throughout. ParentSquare is “how” we communicate in OUSD; our teachers, leaders and central office staff determine the “what” as we engage with our families and each other.
