With the STEM moving to the Oakland Coliseum, we'll be able to showcase even MORE students' work than ever before, which means... we need more judges!
If you are a local STEM professional, (a scientist, a programmer, a grad student, a post doc, an engineer, a data scientist, etc.) and you are available in the evening of Wednesday May 6, then YOU CAN BE A STEM FAIR "JUDGE." While our STEM Fair is a non-competitive showcase, we think it's important for our students to have an audience. We're looking for STEM Professionals who will ask students about their projects and provide them with feedback.
You and a team can host a table or activity at the STEM Fair. At previous OUSD STEM Fairs, we've had activity tables hosted by the Chabot Space & Science Center, East Bay Regional Parks, The Exploratorium, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Shark Stewards and more!
Thank you to our 2025 OUSD STEM Fair Partners

The STEM Fair is made possible by generous donations from local companies, foundations, and community-based organizations. These funds pay for student t-shirts, medals, food trucks, and more!
We are also seeking partners to sponsor student scholarships. Scholarship programs would be co-designed with OUSD STEM staff and would help students with exemplary high school achievement in STEM courses pursue their future ambitions.
