How to build your site CRISIS response team

Site crisis response teams support incidents which occur on school campuses impacting individual students (i.e. possession of a weapon, escalated students, suicidal thoughts (ideation), human trafficking) and/or groups of students (i.e. fights, threats of violence, death of a student/staff, sexual assault, non-students coming to campus to fight students)

Mental Health Crises

A mental health crisis situation exists any time a student's behavior puts them at risk of hurting themselves, others, and/or prevents them from being able to care for themselves. A mental health crisis warrants immediate action or intervention to ensure the student's safety.
