Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO) is a collaboration between the San Francisco Foundation (SFF), the Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT), Youth Transportation Organization (YOOTS), OUSD Middle School Network, OUSD Expanded Learning After-School Programs, and the Oakland Public Education Fund. The goal of Oakland Goes Outdoors is to increase opportunities for students in Oakland to regularly experience the outdoors. The grant program will provide funding for trips, outdoor leadership training, trip planning support, and free outdoor equipment loans.
