Thinking Routines from
Havard's Project Zero

Engage in conversations using simple thinking routines developed by Project Zero at Harvard University to support learners' metacognition as they engage in critical and creative thinking. These routines can be used to look closely at an image, engage in empathy for a character , or surface multiple viewpoints within a text. You can find additional applications of the thinking routines by going to their online learning site for educators: At Home with PZ.
