The children who enter this classroom our are future. Every child has the ability to learn and be successful if they are taught using the right tools. Some students learn better through using the arts, some learn better through direct instruction, some learn better through visuals and the list goes on. It is my job as a Catholic school teacher to get to know my students, know how they learn best and create a classroom where every student can learn regardless of their differences. As a Catholic school teacher I will be committed to show love of God and others in my classroom. It is important to bring God’s love into all subjects that you teach in your classroom. I will build a community in my classroom that challenges all learners; each child should know that they are a special gift from God. If one child learns better through visual learning and another learns better through oral learning, there is no reason why one child should to be forced to learn in a way that is difficult for them. I use multiply ways of teaching so all different forms of learners will have a chance to thrive in their talent area.

I have been teaching in Catholic schools for more then 30 years. I am a graduate of Queens College. I hold two masters from Queens College in the education field, the first one is a Masters of Science in Special Education and the second one is Masters of Science in General Education. My Bachelor of Arts from Queens College is in Childhood Education Nursery to 6th Grade. Teaching has always been my passion and my vocation. I am the oldest of three brothers, one who is a Priest in the Dioceses of Brooklyn. I am a mother of three wonderful children, one who is a certified New York State Administrator working with special education students, one who is a graduate of Notre Dame Law school working as a New York State Lawyer, and one who is a hardworking high school student. I am a pet owner with a dog and turtle. I have been happily married to my amazing husband for 30 years. My two favorite places are the beach and Disney World. I hope that this tells you a bit about me, I cannot wait to get to know all of my students and their families this year!
