Meet Stella Akpuaka, RDH

Stella Akpuaka is a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist who takes pride in delivering refined, patient-centered care in a calm and welcoming environment. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles through thoughtful education, gentle technique, and attention to detail.

Education

Stella earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and brings several years of experience practicing in both Maryland and Texas. Her diverse clinical background allows her to adapt seamlessly to each patient’s needs while maintaining efficiency, organization, and a consistently high standard of care.

Her clinical expertise includes preventive and periodontal treatments such as routine cleanings, scaling and root planing, digital and film radiography, fluoride and sealant application, and comprehensive oral hygiene education. She holds active licensure in multiple states and is certified in local anesthesia administration, nitrous oxide, radiology, and limited medication administration.
