To implement a whole school approach to developing metacognition/learning to learn

Work collaboratively with partners in Speech and Language Therapy to implement strategies/project to address vocabulary gap in early years. Develop Nurturing approaches across the school community and specifically implement a nurture group at Early Stages

Review and develop the literacy curriculum within the Language and Communication Unit to ensure learner engagement and appropriate teaching and assessment approaches. research and implementation of a range of resources specifically designed for learners with lower levels of comprehension/ASD

Embed STEM as a context and approach for learning by developing environments throughout the school to increase opportunties for learning and achievement in literacy and numeracy across the curriculum
