The purpose of the Pupil Council is to encourage children to get involved in issues that concern them, in and around the school. It is our aim to promote a happy, safe and fair environment for all children.
We believe many voices should be heard. We will focus on listening to the views of all the children and report regularly to our classes about the work of the Pupil Council.
Aims:
To make sure that our school is a safe and happy place to be.
To make sure that children have a place to voice their opinions and concerns.
To encourage all children in the school to suggest improvements.
To make sure any concerns are listened to and acted upon.
Action Plan
This month we are working on improving our homework. We ill try:
To put forward pupils' views on the types of activities we would like for homework
To agree on the right amount of homework set
To ensure there is pupil choice within homework tasks (choice grid)
