We are delighted to introduce our Senior Pupil Leadership Team for the 2026-27 session.

As ambassadors for our school, these young leaders will play a key role in representing the voices of our pupils, supporting school events, promoting our values, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for all.

Throughout the year, they will work in partnership with staff, pupils, parents, and the wider community, demonstrating responsibility, commitment, and leadership. We congratulate each member of the team on their appointment and look forward to the positive impact they will make within our school and beyond.

Join us for our first S1 MacMillan Coffee Morning on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 11.30am. Enjoy tea, coffee and cake while helping to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Parents/carers can also access free digital support and online safety guidance. Tickets are limited to two per S1 pupil and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We look forward to welcoming you to Clydebank High School.

All S1 to S6 pupils are invited to attend the Golden Jubilee NHS Careers Event on Tuesday 15 September from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the wide range of careers available within the NHS and learn more about future education and career pathways. Pupils will have the chance to meet NHS professionals from areas including Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health Professions, Pharmacy, Healthcare Science, Digital Services, Administration, HR, Finance, Hospitality, and many more.

Attendees can speak directly with staff about their roles, discover college and university routes into healthcare careers, gain advice on skills, qualifications and volunteering opportunities, and take part in interactive activities and demonstrations. We are delighted that our Modern Languages project, Cultural Cuisine in Languages, has been selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts voting scheme. The project aims to give pupils the opportunity to experience foods from different countries, helping to bring language learning and cultural understanding to life.

To maintain a focused, distraction free learning environment, we operate a strict no phones policy in the classroom. Pupils are expected to keep mobile phones in their bags or in the designated box at all times. If a phone is seen or heard, the following steps will be enforced without discussion or exception: the phone will be placed in the tray, the pupil will be asked to stand outside and receive a mobile phone demerit, and the incident will be escalated to a member of the Senior Leadership Team if necessary.

Pupils interested in representing the school at the Cross-Country Championships in Balloch this October are invited to take part. Whether you are an experienced runner or simply enjoy a challenge, this is a fantastic opportunity to compete against pupils from other schools and showcase your sporting ability.

Any pupil wishing to participate should speak to Miss MacColl in the PE Department for further information and registration details. We encourage all interested runners to get involved!

The Parent Council helps to create an environment where all parents know that their views matter, and where they feel confident and comfortable putting them forward. They work on behalf of all parents to discuss educational matters that are of importance to all. They do not get involved in individual matters relating to children or staff in the school.

On 10 June, Clydebank High School proudly celebrated the achievements of our S1–S3 pupils at our BGE Awards ceremony. The event recognised the hard work, dedication and positive attitudes shown by our learners throughout the year, with awards presented for merits, commitment, excellence and attendance. It was fantastic to see so many young people being acknowledged for their resilience, determination and enthusiasm for learning. We are incredibly proud of all our pupils who continue to strive to be the best version of themselves—well done to everyone who was recognised!

We are delighted to announce that our school has recently achieved the Silver Rights Respecting School Award. This marks an important step forward from our previous Bronze status and reflects the strong commitment of our whole school community to promoting children’s rights.

The award recognises the hard work and dedication of our pupils and staff in embedding the values of respect, dignity and equality into everyday school life.

Clydebank High School’s S6 Prom, held at the elegant Coats in Paisley, was a truly memorable evening for the Class of 2026. Pupils and teachers alike enjoyed a fantastic hot buffet with a wide range of choices, setting the tone for a night of celebration. All of the pupils looked absolutely stunning, and it was clear that everyone was embracing this special occasion.

The dance floor was full all night, with both pupils and staff joining in, especially Ruaraidh King, who deserves a big shout out for never leaving it!

The highlight of the evening also included the crowning of Prom King 2026 Jamie Wilson and Prom Queen 2026 Rosie Dorman. The event was a great success, and it was wonderful to see our young people celebrating together and creating lasting memories. A sincere thank you goes to all staff who attended and supported the event, as your presence helped make the evening even more special for our Class of 2026.

At Clydebank High School’s Sports Awards, which took place on Friday, we proudly celebrated the outstanding effort, dedication and talent shown by our pupils across a wide range of activities.

From the excitement of Sports Day to the commitment displayed in football, basketball, netball, cross country, volleyball and badminton, our pupils demonstrated teamwork, resilience and passion throughout the year. We also recognised exceptional achievements in swimming, dance and gymnastics, where creativity and discipline truly shone.

A special congratulations was given to our Players of the Year and our Coaches of the Year, whose leadership and encouragement inspired success both on and off the field. We were equally delighted to honour those who achieved sporting success outside of school, representing Clydebank with pride in their communities and beyond.
