S2 Computing Science pupils recently visited the Kings Trust in Glasgow to take part in the thrilling Code and Create Challenge. The day began with an introduction to coding, where pupils got hands-on experience learning the basics of programming and building their own algorithms.
After being treated to a delicious Domino’s lunch, the real challenge began. Pupils were split into teams and tasked with designing and implementing their very own app. The room buzzed with creativity as ideas came to life, from concept sketches to working prototypes.
By the end of the day, pupils had not only strengthened their programming knowledge but also developed vital teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills, all essential for a future in the ever growing world of technology. View the gallery here.
The Parent Council helps to create an environment where all parents know that their views matter, and where they feel confident and comfortable putting them forward. They work on behalf of all parents to discuss educational matters that are of importance to all. They do not get involved in individual matters relating to children or staff in the school.

A Rights Respecting School is a community where children’s rights are learned, taught, practiced, respected, protected and promoted.
At Clydebank High School we aim to have the children’s rights at the heart of our ethos and culture, to improve well-being and to develop every child’s talents and abilities to reach their full potential. We have successfully achieved the Bronze Award: Rights Committed, we are now working towards achieving Silver: Rights Aware.

Congratulations to Jessica in S1, who has won a recent art competition. Her outstanding artwork will be exhibited at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, a wonderful achievement for such a talented young artist. Jessica has also been honoured with the prestigious Tommy Honeyman Award in recognition of her exceptional creativity and skill. The school is immensely proud of Jessica’s success and looks forward to seeing her continue to excel in the arts.

Clydebank High School is proud to be in partnership with Magic Breakfast for another year running. Magic Breakfast provides all pupils with a FREE nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives our young people the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons.
Breakfast is available Monday - Friday from 8am onwards.
The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) has announced that exam diet for National Qualifications will start Wednesday 22nd April 2026 and will finish Monday 1st June 2026.
They have also stated that Results Day will be Tuesday 4th August 2026.
All pupils doing their National 5's, Higher and Advanced Higher qualifications have Study Leave starting
