Welcome to Clydemuir Primary School!

May I wish you and your child(ren) a warm welcome to Clydemuir Primary School.

It is a great privilege to write this welcome as Head Teacher of Clydemuir Primary School for my first full school session.  Since joining the school in January 2023, I have been very impressed with the caring and nurturing ethos that permeates the school and our wider community.

Our school is a caring and happy school, where all our actions and interactions are underpinned for our core School Values of Safe, Teamwork, Achieving, Respect and always Smiling!  We hope by instilling and living by these values we provide a safe, nurturing and motivating

environment in which your child will be encouraged and supported to learn and develop a wide range of skills and talents.

Our hard working staff team put great effort into ensuring we provide an innovative

curriculum with learning experiences that encourages creativity and a love for learning! We are committed to develop independent learners with imaginative and agile minds and ensure that all our learners voice is heard by promoting high levels of learners participation in school improvement and in daily school life.

Working in partnership with parents and families is extremely important to us at Clydemuir Primary, as this strengthens our school community and enhances your child’s

learning experiences and development. I hope that the information in this book will explain

how the school operates and the types of learning experiences your child will have.
