Event Rules

The Annual Gordie Perry Bonspiel

Here are some general guidelines for your games:

1)   All open division games, including the finals, are eight (8) ends.

2)   All novice division games, including the finals, are six (6) ends.

3)   All games should be played within 2 hours maximum.

4)   Should the game be tied (no extra end), the skips will throw one rock each (sweeping own rock allowed) – closest to the button wins.

5)   The five (5) rock rule applies.

6)   The no tick rule is not being used in this event.

7)   Unlimited substitutions.

You will receive your team’s four dinner bracelets for the night you requested, either on the day of your arrival, or soon afterwards. If you wish to buy additional dinner(s), you may purchase from Dalal or from the Gordie Perry Organizing Committee - often found at the table in the back corner.
