About Me

Hi! My name is Daniel. I am a pediatric occupational therapist, specializing in sensory integration.

I am a father, husband, and amateur (very) woodworker, who loves to cook. I became an occupational therapist to help people in unfortunate circumstances. While in school, I learned that children are one of the most vulnerable as they are working to build strong foundations and any setbacks may have substantial effects.

I love using play, my favorite occupation, to communicate and connect with children. Play is essential because it supports and builds upon those foundation as the main drive for children.

My journey into occupational therapy began in public health at the University of South Florida. I then earned my doctorate in occupational therapy at Nova Southeastern University, and specialized in sensory integration at the University of Southern California.
