7 & 8 MNL 2019 - Homework

Each week you will be set homework. You have between Monday morning and Sunday evening to complete your homework. If you do not complete your weekly homework, you will be expected to do a catch up session on Monday at lunchtime. The homework will be either Reading Plus or Lexia, depending on which online programme you are using. By completing your homework regularly, you are demonstrating our ROAR values of Responsibility and Active Learning. If there is a genuine reason that you are unable to complete your homework, please ask your caregiver to contact me or write a note.

At times, you may also be set other homework, that relates to our current inquiry topic or other local/national/world events.

Term 3 Homework

If you do not complete the homework set each week, you will be expected to attend a callback on Monday lunchtime of the following week.

1. Reading Plus - if you are on Reading Plus, you are expected to complete your weekly assignments by Sunday evening. This includes 1 piece of writing, relating to a See Reader from that week

1A. STEPs - if you are on the STEPs programme instead of Reading Plus, you will have weekly homework set. The expectations are the same and you will have between Monday and Sunday evening to complete this work.

2. Current Events. Each week, you will complete a Current Events Quiz. This will occur on Friday. It is expected that over the course of the week, you will watch/listen to/read the news in preparation for the quiz.

3. Sometimes you may have other homework set that is related to something we are doing in class.
