Writing that helps students create vivid images in the reader's mind by using detailed descriptions. It focuses on using the five senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch) to make writing more engaging.

Term 2 -Information report
1. Purpose:
To give the reader information about something.
2. Features of information writing:
Title: Tells what the writing is about.
Introduction: Introduces the topic.
Facts/Details: Explains the topic using clear facts.
Diagrams or pictures: Shows examples or helps explain ideas.
Conclusion: Sums up the information or gives an interesting ending fact.
TERM 3 Narrative writing or story writing.
1. Purpose:
To tell a story that has a beginning, middle, and end.
. Features of narrative writing:
Title: Shows what the story is about.
Orientation: Introduces the characters, setting, and situation.
Complication/Problem: Something happens that the characters need to solve.
Events: The steps or actions that happen as the story develops.
Resolution: How the problem is solved.
Ending: A final statement that wraps up the story.
Term 4 Persuasive writing.

To share your opinion on something.
2. Features of persuasive writing:
Title: Shows what you are trying to persuade about.
Introduction: States your opinion clearly.
Reasons: Gives strong reasons to support your opinion.
Examples or evidence: Uses facts, examples, or experiences to back up your opinion.
Conclusion: Sums up your opinion and encourages the reader to agree or take action.
