Director Gauli is very excited to be the Student Association Director of Finance for the 2021 - 2022 academic school year at Oswego. Working alongside directors Yeo and Raj Desai, director Gauli plans to create and remake the New Student Budget Process. Director Gauli is very dedicated to making this happen and creating a budget that makes everyone happy.

A. Student Association organizations that are denied all or part of their request may appeal Budget Council’s budget recommendation to the Budget Subcommittee via the chairperson or their designee.
i. Organizations may only appeal if Student Association Policy was violated during the allocation process.
ii. Organizations must provide proof to the Senate Finance Committee Chairperson or their designee of the specific violation.
iii. The Senate Finance Committee will decide if Budget Council violated policy based on the organization’s proof, by a two-thirds vote.
B. Organizations may submit an appeal of their Budget Council recommendation, up to one week following the date of notice from the Budget Council of their recommendation.
C. Budget appeals shall be heard by the Budget Subcommittee prior to the Senate Finance Committee’s presentation of the budget bill to the Senate for final consideration.

The following letter was written by SA leaders in response to a statement made by student media organizations this morning.
Students are encouraged to attend senate meetings to voice their opinions and work towards a solution.
Students are encouraged to participate in budget training through google classroom for the Spring 2021 semester.

It is important for you and your organization to properly submit the form on time! If your budget is not submitted before the due date then you will not have a budget for the next year. Please submit your budgets in a timely manner.
Meetup with the rest of your organization to brainstorm ideas on what you want to do as an organization for the next year.
*Club Sports will receive a separate email in regards to budgeting.
