Conference Structure
The Conference is designed to provide a full day of learning, networking, and engaging discussions. The event is structured to offer a mix of breakout sessions, panel discussions, and a keynote presentation, ensuring that attendees have the opportunity to explore various aspects of the real estate industry in-depth.
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Settle-In & Networking
The beginning of the day will start with an networking session. This is an opportunity for attendees to check in, grab lunch catered by the student-run student-led Rich 'N' Pour Cafe & Lounge, and connect with fellow participants, speakers, and industry professionals. Whether you're a student, a seasoned real estate expert, or a community member, this is a great chance to mingle, share interests, and set the tone for the day ahead.
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Breakout Sessions – Round 1
Structure: During this hour, we will have four separate breakout rooms, each featuring an individual speaker. These sessions are designed to provide focused discussions on specific topics within the real estate sector.
What to Expect: Attendees can choose the session that best fits their interests. Each speaker will delve into their area of expertise, offering insights, strategies, and trends relevant to their sector.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Breakout Sessions – Round 2
Structure: This second set of breakout sessions will again feature four different speakers, each leading a discussion in a separate room. This round will cover new topics and perspectives, giving attendees another opportunity to explore different facets of the industry.
What to Expect: Each session is designed to be interactive, with time allocated for questions and discussion.

Structure: This segment will feature a series of panel discussions bringing together a diverse group of experts from various sectors of the real estate industry. What to Expect: Panel discussions will cover broad topics such as market trends, regulatory developments, sustainable practices, and investment strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with panelists during a Q&A session.

Structure: Our keynote presentation will be a unique and insightful session led by the student organizers who attended the ULI (Urban Land Institute) Conference in Las Vegas. Drawing on detailed notes, recordings, and research gathered during the ULI event, the students will share key takeaways and insights on the latest trends, economic data, and future projections in the real estate industry.
Room E What to Expect: This session will offer a comprehensive summary of the ULI Conference, including:

However, this isn’t about students simply sharing what they know—our team will be attending the prestigious Urban Land Institute (ULI) Fall Conference, the largest and most influential real estate conferences in the nation, just days before our event. We will be bringing back the latest industry trends, data, and insights from top real estate professionals across the country. As the middlemen, we’ll be distilling this cutting-edge information to provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant knowledge from the ULI conference, ensuring you leave with a fresh understanding of the current landscape and future of real estate.

What are the proceeds from ticket sales being used for?
Great question! We will be using ticket sales to reinvest into the club. Using the funds for our real estate renovation project. Navigate to our projects tab to learn more!
Will there be food and refreshments available?
Yes! We will have refreshments and food available throughout the day catered by Rich 'N' Pour Cafe & Lounge, the student-run student-led cafe in the School of Business. Additionally, there will be designated breaks for attendees to enjoy snacks and network with others.
How many panels will be held during the conference?
The conference will feature multiple panel discussions, with various experts from different sectors of the real estate industry. There will be three breakout sessions, each offering several panels to choose from.
How long will each speaker session last?
Each speaker session will be approximately 30-45 minutes long, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session where attendees can engage directly with the speakers.
Will I have the opportunity to talk with the speakers?
Yes! In addition to the Q&A portions of each session, there will be networking breaks and a dedicated panel discussion that will provide attendees with opportunities to connect with speakers and ask follow-up questions.
What is the dress code for the event?
We kindly suggest business casual attire to maintain a professional atmosphere during the conference.
Do I need to bring anything to the conference?
Just yourself and your curiosity! We recommend bringing something to take notes on, especially during sessions. Laptops, tablets, or notepads are fine. We’ll also provide event materials for your reference.
Is there parking available?
Yes, parking is available a short distance from the venue, and we will provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from the conference location. More information is included when you register for the event!
Can I attend just part of the conference?
While we encourage you to attend the entire conference to take full advantage of the sessions and networking opportunities, you’re welcome to come and go as needed.
Will there be opportunities for networking?
Absolutely! One of the core aspects of the conference is providing opportunities for attendees to network with professionals, peers, and speakers throughout the day.
How do I register for the conference?
You can register online at the top of this page! Tickets will be available for purchase until the day of the event. General admission is $20, college students and highschool students are free. Contact plomanto@oswego.edu to inquire about free admission.
