What is Ultrafest?
Ultrafest is a yearly symposium for ultrasound hosted by the Ohio State University College of Medicine's own Ultrasound Interest group. Every year we invite over 200 medical, college, and high school students from across America to participate in a day of competition, fun, and learning events.
What goes on at Ultrafest?
We will have a variety of events throughout the day, including a speakers, lecturers, open scanning sessions, and competitions. And of course, FREE FOOD!
But I have little/no Ultrasound experience!
That's okay! We tailor the day to accommodate your own skill and experience level, as well as your current level of education.
We suggest those of you with < 30 hours of Ultrasound scanning experience join the Beginner Track (or for OSUCOM students if you have completed BUS), and those of you who have > 30 hours of Ultrasound scanning experience join the Advanced Track.
How much does it cost?
It's free! If you are a medical student, we do ask for a $5 payment as collateral when you register, but you will receive it back once you arrive! If you are a high school or college student, no payment at all is required!
