UltraFest 2017

What is Ultrafest?

Ultrafest is a yearly symposium for ultrasound hosted by the Ohio State University College of Medicine's own Ultrasound Interest group. Every year we invite over 200 medical, college, and high school students from across America to participate in a day of competition, fun, and learning events.

What goes on at Ultrafest?

We will have a variety of events throughout the day, including a speakers, lecturers, open scanning sessions, and competitions. And of course, food!

But I have little/no Ultrasound experience!

That's okay! We tailor the day to accommodate your own skill and experience level, as well as your current level of education. There are levels of experience you can sign up as if you are medical student - Beginner and Advanced!

We consider people 'advanced' if they are comfortable with the following scans:

• FAST
• Cardiac
• OB/GU
• Aorta

How much does it cost?

It's free! If you are a medical student, we do ask for a $5 payment as collateral when you register, but you will receive it back once you arrive! If you are a high school or college student, no payment at all is required!
