The National Honor Society recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Our chapter is committed to fostering academic achievement, community involvement, and ethical leadership.

The Ocean Springs High School NHS chapter has a strong tradition of academic excellence and community service. In past years, our members have organized and participated in a wide range of service initiatives, including:

• Hosting school supply drives and holiday donation campaigns

• Volunteering at local elementary schools, community clean-up events, and food banks

• Supporting faculty through Teacher Appreciation Week activities

• Leading peer tutoring programs for students

• Participating in city-wide service days and charity fundraisers

• Supporting school events such as Open House, Freshman Orientation, and Senior Night
