Dr. Medi Srinivas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University College of Engineering (A), Osmania University, Hyderabad. His work spans biomedical device development, ophthalmic diagnostics, medical imaging, and machine-learning–based clinical decision systems. His research focuses on the design of intelligent diagnostic tools—including automated pupilometry for RAPD and cataract detection—and fractal dimension analysis of retinal fundus images for diabetic retinopathy screening.

With more than a decade of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, he combines academic expertise with substantial industry exposure, having led biomedical engineering departments in major hospitals. He has organized multiple technical workshops, national symposiums, and training programs, and contributed to curriculum development, student mentorship, and institutional administration.

His professional strengths include advanced medical imaging, biomedical equipment management, medical device regulations, and hospital administration. He is also an active member of the Society for NeuroChemistry India (SNCI).
