Mrs. Nance: I began my career in education in 2014. Prior to teaching Transitional Kindergarten, I taught preschool and various other grades in elementary school. Now I get to combine my knowledge of the 2 age groups in this unique grade of Transitional Kindergarten. I love teaching TK, and feel truly blessed to be at Santa Margarita School teaching the children of our wonderful military families. My goal is to teach your child to be independent problem solvers who are ready for their academic future emotionally, socially, and academically.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) serves as a bridge between preschool and kindergarten, providing an extra year of early learning for children who turn 4 by September 1.
The primary goal in TK is to prepare young learners for kindergarten by supporting their social-emotional development and building foundational skills in literacy and math through play-based, hands-on experiences in a nurturing and adaptable setting.
In TK we learn through PLAY!
