This will begin my 32nd year of teaching (wow, I’ve been around for a long time)! I spent 13 years teaching 4th grade at Del Rio before opening Nichols school in 2002. At Nichols I taught 3 years of 3rd grade. This will be my 16th year teaching first grade; I love these little first graders!

My husband and I live in Oceanside. We have two children: Nolan is 24 and lives in Long Beach, and Riley is 21 and just graduated from college and lives at home while she goes to grad school. Our two Boxers, Koa and Aliyah, think we are the best doggy parents!

Outside of school, I love spending time at home working in the yard, doing yoga, camping with my family, and traveling. If you see me around town, make sure you say hello!
