My digital portfolio

I have been teaching students with special needs since 1981. I received a B.A. degree in Psychology, 3 teaching credentials, and a Master's of Education degree at San Diego State University.

My philosophy is to create a partnership with parents. I believe strongly when parents are fully informed about their child's program, the child is more likely to reach their full potential. Each student's program is individually designed to meet their unique needs. In my classroom you will see students having fun and learning at the same time!

When I am not working, I enjoy reading science fiction novels and gardening. I also love to hike and ride my bike. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband of 27 years and my little dog, Jackson!

Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to a great 2016-2017 school year!
