Our group of amazing employee volunteers form the Health & Wellness Champions committee (fondly known as the HAWCs) who orchestrate the OUSD employee wellness program.
This compassionate group of individuals donate their valuable time to find ways to improve the health and well-being of all OUSD employees and their families!

OUSD Employee Wellness Program was established
2017
OUSD was recognized for participating in the American Heart Association Workplace Health Achievement Index
2018
OUSD was awarded the American Heart Association Workplace Health Achievement Index Bronze Level Award! Our first award!
2019
OUSD once again received the Bronze Level award!
The Employee Wellness Program name was changed to the Health & Wellness Champions committee, fondly known as the HAWCs!
2020
OUSD jumped past silver and received it's first ever American Heart Association's Workplace Health Achievement - Gold Level Recognition!
2021
OUSD received its second consecutive nationally-recognized Gold Level Award for the American Heart Association's Workplace Health Achievement Index!
2022
OUSD continued the growth of its Health and Wellness program and was awarded the American Heart Association's Workplace - Wellbeing Scorecard Silver Level award!
2023
OUSD was awarded the American Heart Association's Workplace - Wellbeing Scorecard Silver Level award for the second consecutive year!
2024
OUSD received its third consecutive Silver recognition for the American Heart Association's Healthy Workplace Culture Award!
