If you’re aged 16 to 19 you can become a Young Leader with MAHDLO youth zone.
We’ll help you develop leadership and communication skills, and it is a great opportunity to work with like-minded people and meet new friends! We are always looking for young people who are interested in volunteering, fundraising, offsite trips, and social action.
Volunteer with Oldham Council
Volunteer to help your community. Could include volunteering at a children's centre, with the rangers conserving Oldham's green spaces or maybe volunteering at the library, ranging from Customer Support, IT Literacy/Online Basics to Front of House duties

Meet clients and give out food parcels. Have an informal chat with clients over a cup of tea, to discuss their situation and signpost to further support.

Our volunteers support the Hospice for many different reasons, and whatever your reason for volunteering, there really is something to suit everyone. You can help on reception, serving refreshments, or even transporting patients. You could help us to raise money for patient care by assisting in one of our four shops or helping out at events.
