Yes, the LIFE Conference is free for 4th through 8th graders who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and residents of Oregon.
Will transportation be provided for my child/youth?
Will transportation be provided for my child/youth?
Oregon School for the Deaf is not responsible for your child's transportation to and from OSD for the LIFE Conference.
My child/youth does not know sign language. Can they go to the LIFE Conference?
My child/youth does not know sign language. Can they go to the LIFE Conference?
Absolutely! Upon request (via registration form), we will provide voice interpreters to accommodate to our guest students who do not know sign language.
Can we schedule a tour to see Oregon School for the Deaf before I sign my child/youth up for LIFE Conference?
Can we schedule a tour to see Oregon School for the Deaf before I sign my child/youth up for LIFE Conference?
Yes, you may schedule a tour at the school before the LIFE Conference. Our office hours are open Mondays through Fridays at 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please email our Outreach department at outreach@osd.k12.or.us or call 503-922-6255.

Yes, your child/youth may come to the LIFE event for the entire time from April 15th to 18th or selected days/nights. Upon completion of registration, we will contact you about this.

State law requires a Medication Authorization Form for EACH medication - signed by a parent or guardian BEFORE any medication can be administered by school staff. Upon completion of registration, we will contact you about this.
