volunteer coaches.
Q: Can I Coach a team?
A: Yes, if positions are available! Prospective Coaches must complete an online application. If you would like to serve
as a Coach, then please note that on your child's online registration. All Coaches must be approved by the OYBS Board of Directors and the Iosco County 4H.
Q: What kind of baseball is used?
A: A soft core baseball is used to prevent injury and provide for a good learning experience.
Q: Will my child get to play all the time?
A: Yes, we put all players on the field defensively during each inning, and every player bats each inning.
Q: What are the volunteer requirements?
A: OYBS is an all-volunteer organization so there are many ways to volunteer. Help is always needed with team parenting, assisting with picture and opening night activities, and helping with post-season tournaments. These are just a few of the many ways to help support the league.
