• serve the students and teachers of the Osceola School District 

• enhance academic programs and other teacher-facilitated learning activities that would not occur without grant.

• are not supported through normal school budgets 

• focus on content and enrichment and skills development 

• align with the Foundation's mission and goals 

• have unique or innovative components 

• require start-up support rather than on-going funding 

• enhance the learning experience for many students, not just a few individuals

• tuition for academic degree programs 

• existing sports programs (unless part of a health and wellness program) 

• proposals that replace what is mandated or should be provided by the school district

• funding for staff salaries (including substitute teachers) 

• reimbursement for previously incurred expenses
