Special Education

Welcome! A little about me...

My name is Taylor Baert. This will be my first year at Osceola High School as a teacher, but my 5th year teaching. I grew up in Osceola and graduated from OHS in 2014. I then went to UW-Madison where I graduated with dual Bachelor's degrees in Community and Non-profit Leadership and Environmental Studies with a certificate in Education and Education Services in 2018. After college, I was in the 2018 Teach For America Corps in Idaho. I taught middle school Special Education Math at Lone Star Middle School in Nampa, Idaho. In 2020, I moved back to Wisconsin to be closer to family. I then taught middle school Special Education in Turtle Lake for the past two years. This past Spring I graduated from UW-Superior with my Master's degree in Special Education.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, spoil my dogs, play monster trucks with my nephew, and watch lots of Discovery+ ( especially any Guy Fieri show!)
