Fifth Grade Music

Welcome to Fifth Grade Music!

The fifth graders are having fun making music together! They have reviewed the classroom expectations and routines. They also just finished unit one where they learned about different styles of music in our country, learned about the pitches of the pentatonic scale and reviewed reading rhythm patterns with quarter notes/rests, eighth notes and half notes/rests. In unit two, they will be learning about dotted rhythm patterns and musical styles from other cultures around the world.
