What type of donations are you open to? We are open to cash and of tools, materials, or equipment that can be used during our build and competition process. We would also greatly appreciate marketing materials (t-shirts, stickers, etc.) Our team leaders are able to send out a list of tools and materials we would appreciate upon request.
What is our goal for total money raised? This year our goal is $3,000.
What will my money go towards? A donation from you would have a direct impact on our students by helping fund essential tools, robot components, competition registration fees, and transportation to events.
How much does a typical season cost? $6,300 to register for one regional competition registration plus $3,000 for additions reginonals. If we do well at either of those it costs around $6,800 for national competion registration.
How much does a robot cost to build? Our robots typically cost around 2,000 to build; this does ,however, change between complexity and quality of materials / equipment.
Whats in it for me? You will get a personalized thank you from our team, for buisnesses we would love add a sticker on our robot if provided. For indivitual donators we will be happy to recognize you on our website, upon request, if you have donated more than $500 in cash, tools, material, or equipment.
