Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe.
The main objective of this project is to understand how the way we live affects not only our health, but also our environment and our economic system. In order to do so, we will analyze our consumptions (electricity, gas, water, food…), compare them to our parents' and grandparents' and see what we have to learn from them.
For the last XX years our school has been working to promote work in favor of the aims proposed in the 2030 Agenda for a sustainable world. One of the objectives our students consider most important is the second one, which aims to end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
It is clear to our community that no one should endure hunger ever again.
This is easily said when our habits are not questioned, but why don't we analyze how our way of living affects other people's lives? Let's have a look at it!
We want to draw attention to our consumptions by analyzing their costs and the wastes they create. We will work in two different lines:
Community Acts
We intend to analyze our school's consumptions and wastes.
Personal Acts
We will look into our daily diets, where we get nourishment from, how much energy is needed to provide our food and how much waste is generated.
To improve the communication skills of our students
To empower our students by giving them the space to discuss matters, make decisions and be responsible for their actions
To enhance teachers' knowledge on different fields (digitalization, active learning methodologies...)
