Pakihi

Roshan Syed

Hi! My name is Roshan Syed and I am the lead learning coach of Pakihi Habitat. I completed my teaching degree from The University of Auckland. I have been teaching for 13 years across different year levels. During my time at various schools, I have had the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures which has increased my love to teach and learn.

I believe that learners are unique and they all learn in their own ways. I will create a meaningful, stimulating and enjoyable environment that challenges the student’s intellectual abilities which motivates the learners participation.

Being born in India, learning languages has always been something I really enjoy and I also love experimenting new and creative meals for my family and friends.

Noeline Marks

Hi I am Noeline Marks. I have experience in Primary school in SA as a computer teacher. I have been in NZ for 17 years and during that time I have mostly worked in Early childhood. This is the second year that I am teaching in a Primary school in NZ. I am passionate about teaching and to ensure that all children achieve to their potential. I firmly believe that instilling a love for reading and stories in children will set them up for academic success in later life.

I have two children. My daughter, Melissa (20) is studying Maths at Auckland university. My son, Oliver (14) is at school at Macleans college. He loves reading. During the weekends I do wedding photography.

Rameeza Ali

Hi, Kia ora, Bula! I am Mrs Rameeza Ali. I originally come from a tropical country called Fiji. I travelled to New Zealand in 2000 and ever since, this beautiful country is my home. I live with my husband and two gorgeous daughters in Flatbush. We all love to travel to places and our recent adventure was in Malaysia and Singapore. We have fun experiencing other cultures, learning different languages and discovering new taste in food.

I have been teaching for more than 3 years after successfully completing my bachelor in education at the University of Auckland. I consider myself fortunate to be teaching at Ormiston Primary School from this year since I take delight in learning new things and meeting new people.
