Hello, my name is Pam Musacchio. I started teaching at Oriskany high school seven years ago as the business teacher. Prior to teaching, I worked for 20 years as a marketing manager and as an administrator for my family business. My goal at Oriskany is to help prepare our students for post secondary life by sharing my "real life" experiences in the business world. I also feel as a mother of two adult children, I can relate to our students from a professional and a compassionate place. In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking, walking, reading and the martial arts.

Attendance
Regular attendance is expected and will enhance the comprehension of the material presented. If a student is absent the day an assignment is due, they must turn it in the day they return to obtain full credit. If they are absent the day a quiz or test is given, they will be expected to take the quiz or test immediately upon their return. The work missed from the day of the absence is to be discussed immediately upon their return with the teacher.
Cell Phone Policy: Use of cell phones during class is unnecessary. If a cell phone is visible during class for any reason, including charging, the phone will be removed from the students possession and given to the main office.
Grading
Each student’s average consists of summative (quizzes/tests/projects), formative (assignments/homework) assessments, and a final exam (15% of the final grade).
Final grade is based on the table below:
A = 90 +
B = 80 +
C = 70 +
D = 65 +
F = below 65
