Mrs. Habegger
Hello new friends! My name is Mrs. Habegger and I am thrilled to meet you!
I fell in love with teaching when I was a senior in high school. Since then, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minored in Education from the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as well as my Master of Arts in Teaching from Saint Mary’s (Go Gaels!). I spent time, as a teacher and researcher, in classrooms in Benicia, Piedmont, Berkeley, and Concord and I am thrilled to be in Orinda! I am passionate about teaching in public schools as I believe that every student deserves a quality education where they are able to fully develop into the best version of themselves. I am excited and aware of the unique opportunity that Glorietta presents, as the students here will be the change makers of tomorrow (Go Gophers!).
My husband and I enjoy smothering our newborn son with kisses, trips to Disneyland, listening to live music, spending time with our enormous family, teaching (he is also a teacher in Dublin), and eating yummy food! I love to learn and spend much of my time reading. I cannot wait to learn together! See you soon!

Mrs. Nathanson
Hello Everyone! My name is Ana Nathanson. I am so excited to return to Glorietta Elementary school.
I have been teaching for 8 years, starting as a substitute teacher in LA county, teaching grade K-12. This experience sparked my love of teaching, specifically with elementary aged children. In 2018, my husband, David, and I moved to San Francisco for his medical school residency, where I taught at a nature based preschool, teaching children the values of empathy and community. I began teaching 3rd grade at Glorietta at the start of the 22-23 school year. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at UC San Diego in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction.
When my son Samuel was born in May 2023, I made the decision to stay home to care for him his first year. As much as I enjoyed watching my son grow his first year, I am thrilled to come back to work and balance the two loves in my life, my family and teaching. Some of my interests and hobbies include dancing, running, traveling to new places, and hanging out with my extended family!
